First, you need to make sure your claim is reported with your work place and a claim is opened.
Once your claim is open, you’ll be asked to see a doctor to record your injured areas and get prescriptions for services such as massage therapy, acupuncture or other modalities.
You can sometimes request a certain location to go to for these services, like PT Massage Inc, or you can ask your doctor for a recommendation. Once that prescription is created it needs an approval from the adjuster taking care of your insurance claim.
Your doctor can either send the prescription directly to the providers office and they can communicate with the claims adjuster, or the doctors office will send it directly to the claims adjuster.
Once a decision has been made, the doctors office or other providers office will receive it and contact the patient.
If you feel the need for emergency services please seek that. If your injuries do not require emergency medical attention, please contact your car insurance company and open a claim.
It’s important to ask if you have a deductible and what services are covered for care. Once a claim is open and all paperwork is filled out (PIP forms) you can see a doctor’s office who accepts motor vehicle insurance.
Not all do, so you must ask if they accept it or not. At your doctors appointment, you record the areas you have an injury to and request a prescription from them for services like massage therapy, acupuncture or other modalities you prefer.
Once you have a prescription they can either fax/email it to the service provider or give you the copy and you can contact different providers.
Yes! We do accept OWCP patients for massage and acupuncture.

Unfortunately, we are not accepting any new patients for private health plans.
If your plan allows you to receive massage or acupuncture and get reimbursed you can pay our standard rates and seek reimbursement from your health plan.
Yes! If your flex spending account allows you to get massage therapy and acupuncture you can use your card to pay for those services.
Please check with your HR about what services are covered in your plan. We can provide you with a sales receipt if needed, please just let us know.
Your VA PCP can look up our office name PT Massage Inc and group NPI 1952734881.
That identifies our office and you can receive services from any of the practitioners associated with VA per your doctor prescription.
